IB Maths HL IA Example 1 (20/20)
Mathematics HL is one of the hardest courses the IB has to offer, due to both the nature of the IA and the difficulty of the final exams; scoring highly in the IA will undoubtedly aid students in having more leeway for their final examinations. This Mathematics HL IA obtained a final mark of 20/20, and is an excellent example of the IB’s expectations for a HL IA. The topic of this IA is “The Trajectory of an Airborne Rock”. This IA will be particularly useful in demonstrating the structure, level of mathematics, and personal engagement required.
